Derek Berg is a teenager from the City of Silver, lost in the Abandoned Land of Gods, where the sun has not risen for centuries. An orphan, son of fallen watchmen, he grew up in eternal darkness and constant war with monsters.
Having joined the Tarot Club under the name Sun, Derek got what he never had: a window to the outside world, older comrades, and hope. For him, meetings above the gray fog are literally the brightest thing in life.
Derek walks the path of the Sun — a cruel irony for a resident of eternal night and at the same time the only chance for his city. From a downtrodden boy he grows into the pillar of the City of Silver, bringing light where there has been none for ages.
