Craftsman

Craftsman

Middle stage

The Craftsman is the stage at which knowledge begins to take shape in things.

The Canon speaks of him without mincing words: both in the real world and in the realm of the mystical, the Craftsman is an undisputed master of creation. He makes otherworldly objects and mechanical devices, though neither of these is particularly powerful.

This limitation is fundamental and explains the place of the stage. The Craftsman does not create weapons that decide the outcome of a battle; he creates many useful things that the enemy simply does not have. In long work — in preparation, in equipping a squad, in setting up a shelter — such an Otherworldly outweighs one who only knows how to fight.

Spirituality at this stage grows only in the part of ritual magic, which again emphasizes: the Craftsman's strength lies in his hands and head.

The formula requires the same thing that the craft requires: a gear or other mechanical part polished by one's own hands and a just-invented drawing of a mechanism without serious errors.
