The Killer is the entry to the Demoness path, and in its structure it is closer to a craft than to mysticism.
The body changes so that the bearer excels in combat, evasion, and concealment;
hearing sharpens, sight becomes eagle-like;
Concealment in shadow allows hiding in darkness and shadows, escaping another's gaze.
The step's method of action describes not techniques, but an attitude to the matter, and it sounds almost like a justification:
killing is a matter in which one risks one's own life; it is the highest form of punishment and a disaster for criminals;
every Killer is capable of briefly changing their body, gaining the lightness of a feather for a "leap of faith," possesses eagle-like and night vision and is good in combat, evasion, and concealment;
the shadows are his friends and his cover — and once one leaves the shadow, the advantage disappears.
This beginning explains much in the further path. The Demoness grows not through strength and not through power, but through the ability to find oneself nearby unnoticed and do what is not expected of her: further this will become incitement, charms, disease, and, finally, catastrophe.
