The Black Emperor is the pinnacle of the path, and its key authority is called the Autocrat. It pertains to the symbolism of the Shadow of Order, and beneath it stand subordinate authorities: Distortion, Exploitation, Determination, and Layers.
All of them, except for the Layers, rely on Order: finding loopholes in it and twisting its original meaning, the Black Emperor forces Order to serve itself. This also includes Resurrection — the most unpleasant trait for its enemies. Even if genuinely destroyed, it returns: death belongs to the deep, foundational part of reality's Order, and therefore obeys it. It awakens in one of the mausoleums erected for its own deification.
The second key authority is Disorder, which it wields to the greater extent. At the peak, the bearer is no longer a parasite of Order, nor its interpreter, nor even one who distorts it: it breaks out of Order entirely, plunging the very concepts of order and rules into complete chaos.
Its Divine Kingdom bears two names — the Order's Hell and the False Heavens of the Law.
The ritual of ascension is the longest on the path: it spans an entire country and years of preparation.
