The Paladin of Discipline is the middle of the path and its first step with the advancement ritual. Here the power of law for the first time takes up arms.
The body becomes strong and sturdy enough, instincts and spiritual perception grow;
the mind gains a mystical sense of self-control — a trait without which such power would be dangerous above all to those around;
Retribution — the Paladin chooses a target for punishment, and after that a dawnlike glow emanates from him, enhancing his influence and blows precisely against it;
Authority — his aura now evokes inexplicable terror in those around: movements slow down, and one involuntarily wants to lower one's head, fall prostrate, listen to every word of the Paladin and carry out every command of his.
The advancement ritual fully matches its name: choose a wanted criminal no lower than the Fifth Sequence, establish his guilt, alone track him down, detain, and execute.
Note the word "alone." The path of order recognizes no collective responsibility here: the sentence must be carried out by the one who passed it.
