Healing the soul deserves special mention: in a world where the Otherworldly regularly sustain damage to the spiritual body, and corruption clings to a person like a disease, a healer of this kind is worth more than a weapon.
At the same time, the eighth stage remains peaceful: it grants nothing destructive. The Mother's path is generally one of the few where power grows not through the ability to harm.
