Priest of Secrets — the entry onto the path of the Hermit, and one of the most useful ninth steps for anyone who takes mysticism seriously.
Spirituality increases already from the potion;
Eyes that peek at the secret — the bearer's special eyes see what is usually invisible;
Knowledge — the Priest of Secrets is from time to time overtaken by living knowledge, which itself places information into him at random intervals;
Swift rituals — he performs ritual magic swiftly and without most ritual items.
The last ability explains why this step is so valued. Usually a ritual requires preparation, materials, and time; the Priest of Secrets does without all of this — and is therefore able to cast magic where another mystic would not even begin.
Knowledge that comes on its own is a troubling trait. The bearer does not choose what exactly will be revealed to him, and the path of the Hermit immediately sets this tone: here the secret comes toward the person, and not the other way around.
The formula includes a sheet of paper with others' secrets — a detail that speaks of the path's character more than any descriptions.
