Vampire — the stage after which the bearer ceases to be a human. The canon says this outright: bodily changes make him a truly different species, separate from humanity, and he feeds primarily on blood rich in spirituality.
A set of abilities and spells of the Dark, Shadow, and Moon domains opens up to him, while the Taming of the previous stage is reborn as the Turning of a blood servant. This technique is close to the vampiric Embrace, but differs favorably: no extra otherworldly characteristics are required for it.
It is from the seventh stage that the path of the Moon gains its famous feature in the recipe. From now on, the main part of the formula can be replaced with the "legacy" of Sanguine or an artificial vampire of the same Sequence — that is, the path is passed down by blood, literally from vampire to vampire.
The canon adds an important caveat to this: the other main materials are hard to obtain, because Sanguines and the forces of artificial vampires have almost exhausted them. Simply put, becoming a vampire without a vampire is now nearly impossible — and this makes the entire branch closed in on itself.
The most famous bearer of the stage in the fandom is Emlyn White, a vampire from the Tarot Club.
