The Paragon must behave as his stage prescribes, until the power becomes part of himself. Until the potion is digested, the bearer is vulnerable: the power is already there, but there is no control over it yet.
The path roles are working: the Archaeologist understands what is found, the Craftsman makes with his own hands, the Alchemist transforms one thing into another and is responsible for the result.
The method long remained the knowledge of a few: the hierarchs of the churches were in no hurry to reveal it, and many Paragons ascended blindly, paying for it with their sanity.
