The Otherworldly must behave as their stage prescribes, until the power becomes part of themselves. Until the potion is digested, the bearer is vulnerable: the power is already there, but there is no authority over it yet.
The roles of the path are warlike: the Hunter tracks and finishes off, the Provocateur brings an argument to a fight, the Conspirator prepares a confrontation in advance.
The method long remained the knowledge of the few: the church hierarchies were in no hurry to reveal it, and many Otherworldly rose blindly, paying for it with their sanity.
