Mr. Fool was born as a bluff: a terrified transmigrator seated himself at the head of a bronze table and let two strangers believe that before them was an ancient and unfathomable being. The bluff proved to be a prophecy.

For years, Klein fed the legend: Tarot Club gatherings, miracles for a fee, saved cities and slain angels. Sherlock Moriarty, Germain Sparrow, and dozens of other names were steps by which a man rose to the role he had invented himself.

Having gone through all the sequences of the path, Klein stood at Sequence 0 — and the legend merged with reality: above the gray fog now truly sits the god of mist and fate, to whom Beyonders across the world pray. The price of this throne and how the story of the man inside the god ended will be told by the novel — the ending is worth reaching on your own.
