Keeper of Secrets

Keeper of Secrets — the penultimate step, where the bearer ceases to be a body with a spiritual body inside. The boundary between flesh and spirit disappears in him: both exist as one and yet separately, and he at will shifts himself from a corporeal state to a spiritual one, dividing them and drawing them back together. This is a direct manifestation of the symbols of Strangeness and the Spiritual world.

The new ability — Revival of threads: if a thing once had a spiritual body, the Keeper of Secrets restores its former threads and makes that thing his puppet. He cannot create threads where none ever existed — but he can readily return what was lost.

The step has two prerogatives, and the first of them is Reassembly, also known as substitution and grafting. This is the power of the domain of Change: many objects and even abstract concepts can be reassembled into something else, achieving an impossible but quite real result — as if one changes a thing's definition, its orientation, its logic, or its rules. In its simplest form it looks like fusing together what has no connection between itself:

stitch together places and regions — both in the real world and in the Spiritual;

merge connections, anchors, and prayers;

substitute the goal, the beginning, and the end.

The second prerogative is the Kingdom of Secrets, a rudimentary form of the Divine Kingdom. When the Keeper turns his mind to something important, a thin shadow in the form of a curtain lies down around him, visible to no one else. It warps space-time and cuts the area off from the outer world, letting out neither enemies nor information.

Finally, he performs Miracles directly: without relying on the abilities and powers of his own or a lower level — simply by intervening in another's reality and obtaining an incredible, almost fairytale result.

The ritual of advancement to this step is the most laborious on the path and requires the construction of an entire city.
