The Count of the Fallen is the demigod threshold on the Black Emperor's path. The previous abilities here are supplemented by three new ones, and they are all about one thing: rules can be not violated, but turned to one's own advantage.
Exploitation stretches or cuts off states. An example from the canon is clearer than any explanation: having jumped, the Count prolongs the state "cut off from the ground" — and simply hovers in the air. In combination with Distortion, this gives an effect similar to controlling the laws of nature.
Bestowal hangs a curse on the target, and its choice is small:
to think only about money;
to become greedily impatient;
to lose the will to fight;
to dull and go limp.
Amplification inflates the effectiveness of one's own actions. Usually it only strengthens the body and actions of the bearer itself, does not help others, works on abilities of stage 4 and above, and does not trigger consecutively — only once at a time.
Together, these abilities allow the Count to mark a whole area, changing and strengthening individual rules in it, and to create a favorable battlefield for himself. Through Amplification, Exploitation, and Distortion, he achieves what is generally available only to Beyonders of the Arbiter path. As a demigod, he also obtains an incomplete mythical form — a curly baboon.
