The Investigator is a stage at which the path of order gains its first truly cruel abilities, and all of them strike not at the body, but at the spirit.
Ghostly instruments of torture — he summons them directly into his hands, like a brand, and they damage the spiritual body; however, they can only be used at close range, from a distance it will not work;
Spiritual scourging — he covers his weapon with ghostly lightning, and an ordinary blade begins to affect beings made of spirit;
Spiritual puncture — lightning tears from his eyes and strikes a target at five meters;
Whip of pain — a direct blow to the mind: the target feels as if a current is running through its consciousness, folding into a thorny whip that continuously lashes the soul;
to this are added demolition work and mastery of a wide variety of weapons.
It is telling that all these abilities belong to the path of law. The Investigator is not a torturer by calling, but an official who has been given the power to inflict pain within the framework of order; that is precisely why his instruments act on the soul, and not on the flesh.
The composition, besides parts of the black serpent and the lake spirit, includes a piece of wood scorched by lightning and tourmaline.
