The Emperor of Knowledge is the penultimate step, where information becomes power in the most literal sense.
The Emperor of Knowledge draws upon the information gathered in the Spiritual World and influences the Seven Flames;
his power over mystical knowledge deepens;
the authority of Teaching also grows;
and Spying into Secret acquires some measure of full-fledged power.
The ritual for advancing to this step is the most internal of all from the path: to take yourself apart and master all the knowledge that pertains to you, and then to understand and find the very core — the one that on the Western Continent is called "enlightenment of mind and comprehension of the true nature" — and through it to find the road onward.
A path that began with spying on others' secrets comes to the point where the main secret that must be uncovered is yourself.
The composition, among other things, includes a true crown in the fullest sense of the word and nine kinds of knowledge closely tied to the Zero Step.
