Luminary

Luminary

Highest step

The Luminary — a step placed before the summit, and its authority for the first time touches not a single body of knowledge, but entire civilizations.

Civilization — the bearer holds some measure of power over it;

Creation — this power grows stronger;

Learning — and it too belongs to him;

and the mythic form is now able to manifest a complete image of a civilization.

The promotion ritual corresponds to this: to spread new knowledge so that it renews the civilization of at least one country. Not to conquer, not to destroy — to enlighten.

The composition is heavy and sorrowful: one hundred thousand souls who perished in the decline of a civilization, a book that recorded the history of a civilization, one of its outstanding mechanical creations — nearly perfect — and twelve tiny idols molded by one's own disciples from reverence and faith.

The proximity of these lines says more about the path than any description. The civilizations that the Luminary enlightens are the very same ones whose perished souls go into his potion.
