Middle stage

Priest of Light — the middle of the path and its first step with an advancement ritual. The canon names no new skills here: instead, two previous spells undergo a qualitative leap, while the rest simply gain power.
Light of Holiness — instead of a ray from the sky, the Priest brings down a pillar of pure white-hot light, especially devastating to the undead;
Nimbus of Purification — the former solar halo turns into a circle that purges all undead and every unclean thing within a certain radius.
The absence of new skills here is not a poverty of the step but its very meaning. Up to this point, the Path of the Sun had been accumulating its repertoire — light, blessing, holy water, halo, cleansing strikes. The Priest of Light adds nothing to the list: he brings what he already has to the point of power where the ray becomes a pillar and the halo — a zone of purification. The middle steps of this path grow not in breadth but in depth.
The advancement ritual is one of those that linger in memory: in total darkness one must bury oneself entirely in ice that usually does not melt, and only there drink the potion. The point lies in the contrast: light is received in the deepest darkness and cold, and only the one who carries light within himself, not around himself, endures it.
The method of action befits the entire path and fits into a few words: to dispel darkness and glorify the sun. From this step on, it ceases to be mere craft and becomes a duty — here true service begins.
