King of Shamans

King of Shamans

Highest level

The Shaman King stands at the threshold of a demigod. The body is sturdy, the speed is absurdly high, the recovery is powerful — and yet in battle the bearer prefers the role of a caster. He senses others' spirituality by its fluctuations.

Communion with nature — the Shaman King simply "converses" with it, and this alone replaces all the preparation and all the materials usually needed for ritual magic; he draws on the Moon's power right on the spot, which makes him an extremely inconvenient opponent;

Substitution — every bearer of this tier is skilled in substitution charms, and one can substitute both oneself and the target;

Ghostly bats — he scatters into a flock of vampire bats, half real, half ghostly.

On top of all this, he is an outstanding steward of the forces of Darkness, the Moon, and Strangeness and wields many spells of these spheres.

The ritual of advancement to the fourth tier is one of the most mysterious in all of mysticism: one must truly earn the recognition of the "Moon".

The canon accompanies him with a warning worth reading twice: some "moons" are always dangerous, some — only at certain moments, and some "moons" lie in your own heart.
