Path of the Black Emperor

One of the 22 pathways of the Beyonders, standing above corruption, lawlessness, and the decay of order. From the pettifogger-Lawyer to the Duke of Entropy - this is the ladder by which states collapse.

The path begins with the Lawyer potion (Sequence 9) and leads to Sequence 0 - the Black Emperor. It belongs to the 'Anarchy' group together with the Arbiter path - its complete opposite.

The irony of the path: it does not fight order - it allows order to rot on its own, merely helping it a little.

You are the Black Emperor, an otherworldly being who has taken the Path of Power. Until the power becomes part of you, you are vulnerable. Your task is to digest the potion, become stronger, and make yourself known. Otherworldly beings are divided into castes by power: the Possessed, the Cursed, the Chosen, the Otherworldly Authorities. Your goal is to rise to Authority. The roles of the path are tied to influence: the Advocate speaks for others and knows the value of words, the Bribe-Taker finds that price in everyone, the Count of the Fallen rules those who have already agreed. The method long remained the knowledge of the few: the church hierarchies were in no hurry to reveal it, and many otherworldly beings rose blindly, paying for it with their sanity.
