The Path of the Hanged Man is one of the 22 Beyonder paths, standing above secrets, shadows, and sacrificial rites. Its bearers listen to what the darkness whispers and pay for knowledge according to the darkest price lists.
The path begins with the Secret Seeker potion (Sequence 9) and leads to Sequence 0 - the Hanged Man, the guardian of secrets hanging between worlds. It belongs to the «Almighty God» group.
In the era of the novel, the path is dismantled by secret societies: the cults of the School of Rose and sacrificial sects raise their Bishops and Shepherds away from the eyes of the great churches.
