Dream Thief

The Dream Thief is the midpoint of the path, and here Theft becomes so refined that almost anything can be stolen.

Within eighty meters around him, the carrier takes away thoughts, intentions, common skills, knowledge, ideals, blows, memories, and dreams:

thought interception — he steals the intent the enemy is about to carry out, and that enemy freezes for a moment;

common skills — the ability to walk, fly, speak, or speak a specific language;

blows directed at him — a stolen attack simply does not work, and the thief is left with no side effects unless the attack itself carries them;

things down to an organ or a fetus in the mother's womb;

and having stolen a person's ideal, the Dream Thief strips them of the will to move forward.

He cannot enter others' dreams, but he weaves the needed scenes into them and so influences the sleeper's future decisions.

The second ability is the Mask, namely the theft of heavenly secrets: the carrier poses as a follower of a true deity, bypasses defenses, intercepts answers to prayers, and creates all manner of rituals and amulets of the corresponding domain. The smarter the deity, the higher the chance the forgery will be exposed.

Deciphering at this stage pierces the delusions of the Strange Sorcerer's level.

In the Amon version there is no theft of heavenly secrets: it partially returns at the fourth stage and fully at the third, and such a carrier cannot hold onto stolen abilities. But instead he gets back the second type of Theft that was lacking at the Prometheus stage.

The advancement ritual requires becoming someone else's nightmare — literally.
