Psychiatrist

Psychiatrist — the stage at which the Seer's path for the first time gains the ability not only to understand another's mind, but also to interfere with it. The body improves as well: strength and speed grow noticeably, vision allows one to see clearly in the dark, health strengthens, and the sense of smell becomes such that by barely perceptible scents the bearer perceives the true feelings of an interlocutor.

There are five abilities here, and each works on the consciousness:

Frenzy — the Psychiatrist rocks the feelings and mental state of the target, driving it into a frenzy and dealing heavy mental damage; sometimes this directly leads to a loss of control;

Telepathy — through a candle, a distillation device, or another medium, he brings the target into a semi-hypnotic state and speaks directly to its body of heart and mind, descending to the very bottom of its sleep, where a corresponding environment takes shape around it;

Psychological suggestion — with certain words and techniques through a medium he makes the target follow his design, and the latter does not notice it; applied to oneself, the suggestion allows one to remain in a clear state of mind within a dream;

Dread — those within a certain radius instantly fall into panic, go numb and lose formation, as if before a dragon; one can hold out with strong mental fortitude or if one knows of the strike in advance;

Pacification — the Psychiatrist returns the mind to an Otherworldly or ordinary person on the verge of a breakdown; the higher his own stage relative to the "patient," the more reliably it works.

Pacification deserves special mention: it resembles the Requiem of the Soul Certifier from the path of Darkness, but it strikes differently — the Requiem puts to sleep the spiritual body, while Pacification works with consciousness.

Body language analysis at this stage becomes remote: the Psychiatrist needs but a photograph to decipher the feelings and thoughts of the depicted person and to build a working psychological model of him.

The method of action, however, requires not power, but help: to resolve others' mental difficulties and to remember that people wear different masks before different circumstances.
