Telepath is the stage where observation turns into direct reading. Sight sharpens once more and becomes noticeably clearer than before, but the main skill now lies not in the eyes.
Reading thoughts allows the bearer to pick up the surface thoughts of an interlocutor, and to a certain extent — to anticipate where those thoughts will move next. This is not yet dominion over another's consciousness: the Telepath reads what lies on top and fills in the course of reasoning, but does not change it.
The reading of body language meanwhile also grows and ceases to be limited to the outward: the Telepath reads the aura, the etheric body, and other mystical layers of a person. The flip side of that same skill is that he himself knows perfectly well which feeling is fitting to show in a given situation, and with which gestures and facial expression to play it.
The method of the stage's action consists of a single rule, and it is surprisingly down-to-earth: not to commit sharp and illogical acts. The one who reads others' thoughts is obliged to remain understandable and predictable himself — otherwise the role falls apart.
The potion's composition relies on creatures tied to mind and illusion: the pituitary gland of the rainbow salamander and the cerebrospinal fluid of the farceman rabbit.
