Sorcerer of Secrets

The Sorcerer of Secrets is the demigod threshold, and here the path of the Door turns from a means of movement into a way to hide and banish.

Spiritual intuition and astrology are strengthened: the bearer's eyes darken and become covered with countless sparks, from which a swiftly rotating stellar "rubble" forms, and this instantly wrenches him out of any illusions. Intuition now warns even of demigod-level deceptions — though not in advance and not instantly.

There are four new abilities:

Concealment of Space — the core of the step: the Sorcerer splits the area in two and creates a hidden space that can only be entered through a certain door; every such space must have a door — as both an exit and a window to the outside; in battle this instantly restricts the opponent, and it is also how mystic items with a tiny shelter inside are made;

Transformation — the Sorcerer turns into one ghostly door after another, and their layers multiply endlessly, so that blows never reach him: the real body lies inside a speculative door, in a completely different world, and from there it watches the attacker;

Keeping of Secrets — he hides secrets and muffles others' intuition, and by shattering a crystal sphere he himself becomes a secret, confounding mystic tracking; he also prevents a conversation from leaking outside;

Banishing — ghostly doors hurl the target, over which he has gained initial control, into a space-time storm; at this step the banishment lasts only twenty seconds, after which the banished one returns to the Sorcerer through the same door.

Recording undergoes a qualitative leap: the Sorcerer now records angelic powers, up to the powers of the kings of angels — though they work noticeably weaker than the real ones. He can record not only abilities but also "states" of various creatures, so as to put them to use in battle.

As a demigod he gains an incomplete mythic form — the Star Worms: insects of radiant starlight, whose bodies are curved in a semicircle and fold into the likeness of ghostly doors.

The advancement ritual requires sealing a demigod, and a hostile one at that, and the less outside help there is, the better the result.
