Lowest step

The Seer is the first step of the Fool's path and the complete opposite of combat-oriented lower steps like the Warrior. Everything the potion gives its bearer goes into spirituality, mind, intuition, and the ability to interpret: there is almost no physical strength or combat power here.
It begins with memory. The one who drinks the potion immediately notices that they remember better than usual, and further, as it is digested, this only grows. The applied meaning: enhanced memory allows one to hold in mind long sequences of ritual magic and divination arts, where a mistake in a single step costs too much.
The main acquisition, however, is spirituality, and from it grow three things:
Spiritual vision — allows one to see what has no flesh: ghosts and spirits, to distinguish parts of another's soul, and by it to understand a person's state of health and feelings, and to notice whether an object has a mystical aura;
divination arts and ritual magic — the Seer masters any method of divination, from astrology and spiritual numbers to contemplation, and in ritual magic even surpasses the Inquisitor of Mysteries;
intuition for danger — spirituality itself hints to the bearer that trouble lies ahead.
An important caveat that is often debated: Spiritual vision is not an exclusive ability of the Fool's path. Beyonders of various paths possess it to one degree or another, and it can even be taught outside the potion. What distinguishes the Seer is not the very fact of this vision, but the depth of working with fate: divination and interpretation — that is his true craft.
The most famous bearer of the step is Klein Moretti, with whom the story of "Lord of the Mysteries" begins.
