Flash — blinds rather than illuminates: several times brighter than an old-fashioned photo flash;
Black Curtain — a dark veil of air behind which one can hide an object;
Gas Transfer — diverts poisonous or harmful gas, or, on the contrary, delivers the needed one, if the target is no farther than fifteen meters;
Loud Noise — a deafening sound out of nowhere: a fake explosion, a disruption of someone else's attention and hearing;
Freezing — sharply lowers the temperature, brings on frost or thin ice;
Electric Discharge — roughly like the low voltage in modern household use;
Fog — over fifteen meters around;
Wind — with a force of seven to eight points;
Ignition — sets objects on fire within three meters by the simple friction of fingers;
Somersault and Object Manipulation — to move or toss up something within five meters, without fine work;
Disappearing Act — to distract attention and swiftly shift oneself away.
The tier's method of action sums all this up in one phrase: the point is in the performance, in the ability to fool others and deceive.
