Method of Action — a way to digest a potion. The otherworldly must behave as prescribed by their stage until the power becomes part of them. Until the potion is digested, the bearer is vulnerable: the power is already there, but there is no control over it.
The roles of the path are thievish: the Marauder takes what is poorly guarded, the Swindler lives off others' trust, the Parasite settles at someone else's expense without being noticed.
The method long remained the knowledge of a few: church hierarchies were in no hurry to reveal it, and many otherworldly beings ascended blindly, paying for it with their sanity.
