Le Chemin du Prisonnier est l'un des 22 chemins des Autres, qui domine les transformations, la folie et les interdits anciens. Loups-garous, zombies et fantômes des contes terrifiants en sont les échelons inférieurs.

Le chemin commence avec la potion du Prisonnier (Séquence 9) et mène à la Séquence 0 — le Prisonnier. Il fait partie du groupe « Père des Démons » avec le chemin de l'Abîme.

La mécanique clé du chemin est les chaînes : les restrictions donnent la force, et la perte de contrôle transforme le porteur en ce monstre même dont on effraie les débutants des Autres.

The Otherworldly must behave as his level prescribes, until the power becomes part of himself. Until the potion is digested, the bearer is vulnerable: the power is already there, but there is no control over it yet.

The roles of the path are heavy in themselves: the bearer passes through states from which an ordinary person does not return, and must remain himself in each.

The method long remained the knowledge of a few: the church hierarchs were in no hurry to reveal it, and many otherworldly beings ascended blindly, paying for it with their sanity.
