People of Fury

The People of Fury is a stage where the sea inside the bearer turns into a storm. Strength, speed, and endurance grow so much that colliding with such a person is like being caught in a storm.

The abilities are direct and vicious:

Wrath — in a rage, the bearer delivers several strikes that go beyond the ordinary limits of his body;

Furious Strike — a terrible blow assembled from accumulated anger.

The peculiarity of the stage is that its power depends on the state of the spirit. A calm People of Fury is simply a very sturdy person; an enraged one is an opponent who is hard to stop. Hence the second name, Storm Warden: a storm is never half-hearted.

A comparison with neighbors at the level is telling here. A Hand-to-Hand Fighter of the Giant path is strong exactly as much as he is trained, and in battle he is predictable in a good sense — he is a master. The People of Fury does not become a master: he becomes an element, and his blow is the stronger the less he holds himself back.

The reverse side is obvious and makes the stage dangerous for the bearer himself. Power tied to anger requires anger to be maintained, and the habit of stoking oneself in a world where losing control turns an Otherworldly into a monster is not the most harmless habit. The Tyrant path is generally generous with such deals: it gives a lot and at once, and takes payment in character.

The potion's composition matches: the alveoli of a deep diver, the breastbone of a battle-cry bird, and five hundred milliliters of strong alcohol — twice as much as the Sailor's.
