The Tyrant Pathway is one of the 22 Beyondener pathways, ruling over storms, seas, and the fury of the elements. Its bearers are the terror of the seas in the literal sense: from the tenacious Sailor to the God of Thunder.
The pathway begins with the Sailor potion (Sequence 9) and leads to Sequence 0 - Tyrant. It belongs to the "Omnipotent God" group. In the era of the novel, the pathway is controlled by the Church of the Lord of Storms - the second of the great churches of Loen.
The pathway's bearer in the Tarot Club is Alger Wilson: the irony is that his code name at the bronze table is "The Hanged Man", although he has nothing to do with the Hanged Man pathway.
