Method: digest
Description: A method of absorbing the power of a slain otherworldly being. The vessel must behave as prescribed by their stage until the power becomes part of them. Until the potion is digested, the bearer is vulnerable: the power is already there, but they have no control over it.
Path roles are shipboard: Sailor and Seaman live by sea work, Wind-Blessed steers the vessel where the weather is against, Ocean Singer appeals to the element itself.
The method long remained the knowledge of the few: church hierarchies were in no hurry to reveal it, and many otherworldly beings rose blindly, paying for it with their sanity.
